Derrick Griffey

Today’s speaker is Dr. Derrick Griffey. Dr. Griffey is Director of Distance Education, Faculty Development, and Learning Resources at Gadsden State Community College. Derrick considers himself a driven and enthusiastic educator. He has spent the past 13 years in higher education and 4 years in K-12 prior to that. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Instructional Leadership with a concentration in Instructional Technology from The University of Alabama. In his current role of Director of the Teaching & Learning Center, he is primarily responsible for two critical areas within the college: LMS Administration and Faculty Development.
